Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin in Ireland on November 11, 1996. She is a model as well an Irish actor. After making her debut in a feature film with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to appear as a an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). The other roles she played include Siobhan Donavan on the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody was a model when her being approached by a hopeful photographer. The career she pursued has developed into commercial modeling. Doody was determined to steer clear of the glamour of nude roles this was the principle she incorporated into her acting. After being spotted by to the director of casting for an upcoming James Bond film she accepted the role of Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was named as one the 12 most promising actors of the year in 1986 in John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody had just turned 18 at the time she was cast in the role of Bond girl. Doody is the youngest Bond girl to date. A Prayer for the Dying which starred Mickey Rourke in 1987, was another early film where Doody portrayed IRA Siobhan. Doody played Archibald Craven in his dreams in the 1987 TV adaptation of The Secret Garden. She was Lilias. The Storyteller's episode Sapsorrow was her debut leading part. The episode aired in 1988 with Dawn French, John Hurt as well as Jennifer Saunders. The year 1988 was the first time she starred alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. The most memorable part to date was that of Austrian Nazi sympathiser and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody is a part of the James Bond family, having been in the film with Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in 1989's Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries the British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. She later moved to Hollywood. She replaced Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson role. Then she played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody returned to acting in 2003, playing a small role as a character in her role in the British comedy film The Actors, in which Michael Caine played herself at an awards ceremony. Doody's roles included an appearance in a TV film version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 and a book about the Holocaust, and the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. in 2010 Doody played a role on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). Doody appeared on RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was later shelved. The year 2011 saw her debut on the first season of two in the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014 she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. In November of 2018, she was honored by the Almeria Tierra de Cine award as well as the honor of a star on the Almeria Walk of Fame.
