Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a teacher of primary schools in Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love of sprinting while at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first trial she took, she was ranked 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. Then she went to at the University of Southern California and pursued a degree in elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She broke a Junior World Record by taking 200m in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to win the 200 meter race. She defended the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three places in all her events.
