Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey, an African-American writer, is known for her ex-wife comedian and host Steve Harvey. In a bid to keep her distance from the scrutiny of the media, she lives a very private life. Steve could not attain the fame and fortune he's now enjoying, but they had been married 14 years. It's unclear what led to the split, however Hollywood has heard rumors of the split. Some believe that Steve Harvey was cheating, while others blame him for deciding to pursue comedy as his field of work. The tragic story of her life can be traced to the circumstance that Steve abandoned her and his two daughters when she was pregnant with their third child. Despite all the challenges, she managed to build an impressive career as a fashion and writer. Her books include "Marcia: Eyes To The Soul", "Marcia" and "Marcia Poems From The Heart". The kindness of her character has been a source of inspiration to her children. Marcia Harvey was raised in an African-American family and isn't financially secure. She started working at a department store named "Saks Fifth Avenue'. She came across Steve just a few years later at a party hosted by a mutual friend's celebration. They fell in love, and they got married in 1980. The couple was blessed with twin girls in 1982, while Steve worked as an insurance salesman. Steve was disillusioned at his job and determined to pursue a career in the field of entertainment. He wanted to become a stand-up comedian. Steve and Marcia could not get together and later reports suggested that they'd been living apart since the year 1990. Marcia Harvey's fame stemmed largely due to her marriage Steve Harvey, and their divorce. Although their divorce proceedings in 1994 were kept under wraps It is clear that Marcia Harvey was expecting their third child at the time they split up. Marcia finally filed for divorce on March 23, 1993. Marcia was forced to seek the court after her divorce as well as Steve Harvey's refusing of the child support and alimony payment.
