Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going on to be a star in
big-screen comedy films like 'Elf "Anchorman" and Talladega Nights.
Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He started his comedy career
by playing an actor for the improv troupe based in Los Angeles, the group
called the Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night Live cast member for seven
seasons and was a major comedic draw through off-color hits, such as Old School
2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell is also co-creator
of the popular video streaming site Funny or Die, and enjoyed success as a
voiceover actor on animated movies such as Megamind (2010). John William
Ferrell, born July 16, 1967 in Irvine, California. Will Ferrell was the
youngest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and instructor Kay
Ferrell. He was, by his own admission was not exactly the class clown when he
was an University High School student. He was quiet and quiet. Ferrell determined
to leave his mark on the field of football which is where he established a
school record for most field goals scored. Ferrell was not a fan of the absurd,
humorous behaviour that would make his career famous and even at the suburban
house he lived in. "Very even-tempered, extremely casual," his mother
recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You have any memories of those
Matchbox automobiles?" Will put together his Matchbox cars completely by
himself and be completely satisfied. You'd ask, 'Do you want to visit
Disneyland today, or line up your cars?' He'd have to think about the matter.
Ferrell was not a perfectly straight man however that doesn't mean to suggest
he wasn't. When he made the daily announcements on the PA system, a glimpse
into his comical talents was shown every day at high school. After graduating
in 1986, Ferrell attended the University of Southern California at Los Angeles,
where he was a member of the Delta Tau fraternity and pursued the degree of
sports journalist.
