Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis (Greek pronunciation 01 October 1969) was an American actor, comedian as well as a musician, writer and comedian. He was a part of the Comedy Central Presents special and presented his show Late World with Zach on VH1. Galifianakis has been featured in movies including The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He was also in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis has also voiced characters for animated films like Puss in Boots (2011). The Lego Batman Movie (2017). Missing Link (2019). Ron's Gone Wrong (2021). Galifianakis is the host of the Funny or Die website chat show Between Two Ferns. He was a regular on the FX series Baskets. In the year 2017 his nomination was for win the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actor for the Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis was a native of Wilkesboro, North Carolina on October 1st in 1969. His mother is of Scottish-Irish and English descent, and his paternal grandparents were Greek immigrants from Crete. His father was a Greek Orthodox Christian and he was Baptized. He is the younger brother of named Merritt, and an older brother, Greg. The cousin of his Nick Galifianakis (Washington Post cartoonist) is his uncle. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School. Then, he attended North Carolina State University and majored in communications. He was a radio operator at an access station that was public at college. In the year 1991, he taught the class of waltz and was introduced to Mary J. Blige. Following his TV debut Boston Common, Galifianakis joined Saturday Night Live for two weeks. According to him, he mentioned that he had been the Saturday Night Live host for two weeks.
