Will Ferrell was a member of the cast of Saturday Night Live before going on to be a star in big-screen comedy films like 'Elf "Anchorman" and Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine, California in 1967. He started his comedy career by playing an actor for the improv troupe based in Los Angeles, the group called the Groundlings. He was a Saturday Night Live cast member for seven seasons and was a major comedic draw through off-color hits, such as Old School 2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell is also co-creator of the popular video streaming site Funny or Die, and enjoyed success as a voiceover actor on animated movies such as Megamind (2010).
